Sandals, flowery sundresses, shorts, and robins!

Living in Pennsylvania during February, March, and April is always a tease for this California girl. Being in California the first 35 years of my life has conditioned me to pull out sandals, flowery sundresses, and shorts -- today here in Pennsylvania the low was 24 degrees fahrenheit - still wearing sweaters and scarves, ugh! Today I saw robins searching for earthworms in the frozen earth -- a positive sign that warmer days are soon approaching - I have learned that when the robins arrive here spring is quickly approaching. Do you have Springtime traditions? Since I can't wear those light and bright clothes yet I am washing and beginning to store some of the winter gear. Another "conditioned response" this time of year is doing a thorough cleaning of my house. After months of shuttered windows, forced heat, dark clothes everything seems to need serious cleaning out, scrubbing, & scouring.
